There are no standard rules of blackjack in principle. Passing of one casino to another, you can meet these or other differences. At first glance they seem insignificant, but in the final analysis they have an effect both on strategy of game and on the size of your gain (or loss). The classic blackjack game

In the game 6 pack of 52 playing cards each from the two to the ace participate, i.e. 312 cards, which form "large pack of playing cards". Dealer gives out cards from the special attachment - the box, called sabo or shoe (both words in French and in English indicate: shoe, boot-tree).

Kings, queens and jacks are evaluated at 10 points; aces at will of player are counted for 11 or for 1 point. Remaining cards - in accordance with their rank (two - 2 points, eight - 8 points, etc.).

The goal of the game

The goal is to collect cards with the sum of scores, on the possibility of close one to 21.

21 - this is maximum, "overflow" it leads to the immediate defeat. The greater the sum of scores, the higher the value of the collected cards. One refinement is necessary, true: ace and 10- spectacle card (picture or ten) are called BLACKJACK and are considered as the most significant combination. On the value it exceeds any other cards, which compose 21 points.

The game turn

Beyond the playing table several players, who make bets - they place chips to the specially outlined "boxes". After this, the dealer (playing the role of "banker") gives out to each player on one card, places card to itself and again gives to players one card. All cards place in that opened. Now croupier begins successive work with each of the players.

Let us assume you placed $100. You see your two cards and one card of croupier. The cards of remaining players for you do not have a value; game is conducted only with the banker. Two your cards are your initial combination, which it is possible to attempt to improve, collecting additional cards. Then the same will make with croupier, "improving" its unique card. Those wins, whose combination will prove to be more valuable. Size of profit is your gain ($100). If, however, it transported also to the hands immediately arrived blackjack, croupier will pay in relationship 3:2, i.e., $150 will compose your gain. For some other combinations in the casino are paid out the additional rewards. But to lose more than the bet you made, you can not. And finally, if your combination and combination of dealer have identical value, game concludes to be a draw (in the international language of casino no one's it is designated by English words - push or stay). Therefore blackjack or another awarded combination in principle does not guarantee the gain.

Besides the collection of cards, in you there are several interesting possibilities. Them we will examine only later, and thus far let us be concentrated on the additional cards. If two initial cards do not arrange you, you request banker to open one more. After estimating the received combination, it is possible to ask a new card and so forth finally either you will stop or the matter will end countershaft, and banker will immediately take away your rate. With the collection of cards it is necessary to remember about "double meaning" of aces. After obtaining the 3 with an ace, you have 14 or 4 points. Let us assume you take new card, and this is ace again. Now you have either 15 or 5 points (never 25!). It is possible to boldly request one additional card: you are insured from the overflow. Independent of a quantity of obtained aces, the sum of scores can have not more than two values. If sum is actually two-digit, combination is called soft, otherwise - rigid. Combination with one or several aces completely can prove to be rigid: for example, combination T- T -4-6 brings exactly 12 points.

The rigid or soft combination, which gives 21 point or blackjack, is considered final.

After servicing all players, banker collects his own. In contrast to you, the croupier acts purely automatically. He is obligated to take cards until the sum of scores composes 17 or it is more (this it relates also to soft combinations like T -6 or T -5-3). As soon as this will occur, collection immediately ceases. If overflow, you conquered in dealer. Otherwise it compares its combination with the cards of players, and payment occurs.
